Did you know? Our thought processes, our strategies and how we use our B2B tools need to change.
You’ve heard some great predictions for the New Year, but let’s be honest, 2010 was just too good to let go. And that’s why we here at Godfrey have compiled a 5 track, 13 disk compilation of what, in our fast-paced marketing world, are already oldies but goodies*. This special B2B Insights Blog offer is available for a limited time only and they are (thankfully) going fast. So, act now! Get ready to write down a number! If you call in the next fifteen minutes...Other needlessly enthusiastic, unfounded and logistically unrealistic claim!** Just look at these great works of the year, including: Poke the Bear: BP: Aside from the obvious, 2010 held a lesson in social media for the oil giant. A toe-tapping favorite. My Flavor of the Kool-Aid: Seemingly everyone. No shortage of marketing trends produced plenty of misguided “me too’s.” Excelling at what you’re good at is overrated. Jack-of-all-trades and master of featureless apps, skeleton social media presences… It’s hard to get this little ditty out of your head. Oops: Godfrey. The typically attuned B2B agency gave me login credentials to the blog. Wait and See: Those not featured in “My flavor of the Kool-Aid.” Playing it safe is where it’s at. This slow developing ballad lets the rat race bustle in the distance while wondering “Will this interweb thing stick around?” Classic Block: Gap. In the same genre as “The New Coke,” Gap felt the sting of fixing something a vocal brand-fan base didn’t think was broke. Starbuck’s cover of the tune is currently climbing the charts. AND MANY MORE! (feel free to add your favorites as comments) The sound quality of these hits is unsurpassed. If you listen closely, you can hear your own agency groaning in the background at the sheer thought that you may latch onto one of these great concepts. And if you act now, you are guaranteed to be equally entertained in 2011. By ignoring the lessons of 2010 and the snickers of the industry, some gaffes are doomed to be repeated. That’s TWO YEARS of quality entertainment for the price of none (at least not out of your budget). Just think, 358 more days of 2011. Who knows what hits will grace our shelves and screens in the coming year. Don’t let another day go by without taking advantage of this great offer. Here’s to 2011.***
*Godfrey makes no claims to the results of the initiatives and campaigns deemed “goodies.” In fact we debated making some of these great exploits up. Luckily the year provided enough 100% real, all-natural highlights all on its own. **No claims in this offer have been validated by the FDA, FTC, AAAA, NRA, B-I-N-G-O or my dentist, Katie M Casey, D.D.S, L.L.C ***There are some lessons sprinkled in here somewhere….
