Godfrey has promoted two members in its account management group.

Michael Wayde, of Columbia, has been promoted to the position of account group manager.  In his new role, Wayde will lead a team of account managers that provide full service marketing support for clients mainly in the heating, ventilation, air-conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) industry. In addition, Wayde leads the agency’s mobile technology venture team. Wayde, a graduate of Millersville University, joined Godfrey in 2000 as an associate account manager and was most recently an account supervisor.

Abby Butt, of Millersville, has been promoted to senior public relations (PR) account manager from PR account manager. She manages PR and social media programs for clients in the green building, HVACR and sustainable flooring industries, and also leads the agency’s social media venture team. A resident of Millersville, Butt originally joined Godfrey in 2006 and then rejoined the company in 2008. She earned a bachelor of science in communication from Boston University College of Communication.
