Godfrey announced today that it has achieved Google AdWords Certified Partner status.
In addition, Stacy Whisel, vice president of Strategic Media Programs, achieved Individual Qualification upon passing the Fundamentals and Advanced Conversion/Reporting tests in the newly updated Google AdWords Certification program. As part of this new program, Godfrey will receive timelier, comprehensive, strategy-focused training and certification on the latest tools and best practices for managing AdWords programs on behalf of its clients.
Google enhanced its Advertising Professionals program and updated it with the Google AdWords Certification program in April 2010. Changes to the program include:
- Certifications at both the Individual Qualification and Certified Partner levels
- Reduction of the required amount that advertisers must spend
- Addition of four new advanced exams
- Redesigned Certified Partner badge, which includes a “Click to Verify” icon that enables advertisers to view the partner’s profile page for additional information
“We are pleased to announce that Godfrey is a Google AdWords Certified Partner, and that Stacy Whisel achieved Individual Qualification. Like Google, we value the importance of continued education as the advertising industry and digital landscape continues to evolve and change over time. As part of the partner status, we will receive the most up-to-date knowledge of and experience with the Google AdWords program, and as a result are well-positioned to better serve our clients,” said Chuck Manners, president and chief executive officer at Godfrey.
