Godfrey Establishes New Customer Insight Group Charged with Deep Understanding of Clients’ Customers

Announces new structure, promotions

Lancaster, Pa. – Godfrey, a nationally ranked business-to-business marketing communications agency, announced today that it has established a new Customer Insight Group dedicated to the deep knowledge of clients’ customers applied to marketing communications programs. This group’s efforts will blend with those of Godfrey’s Account Service and Creative Service Groups to provide comprehensive and effective solutions for the company’s clients. 

The Customer Insight Group will be led by Stacy Whisel, who has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Customer Insight and Strategic Media Programs. Whisel, who previously served the company as Vice President of Strategic Media Programs, joined the agency in 2004. In her new role, Whisel will help strengthen and expand Godfrey’s capability to provide business-to-business audience insight that informs and guides marketing communication program and creative strategy.

The following employees will be part of the Customer Insight Group:

  • Andy Hunt will take the newly formed role of Director of Marketing Technology. Previously the Director of Programming, Hunt is now responsible for analyzing, developing and recommending innovative technology components for strategic marketing programs and tactics.

  • Leanne Terpak, formerly an Associate Account Manager, was promoted to Analytics Manager. In her new position, Terpak is responsible for measuring and tracking the performance and key metrics of clients’ business-to-business marketing communications programs and applying analytical methods that will improve performance.

  • Jennifer Leigh Brown, who was recently promoted to Director of User Experience (UX) from Interactive Creative Director, is responsible for developing strategies that create intuitive, effective, and engaging digital experiences based on user-centered design.

  • Micah France recently joined Godfrey as Information Architect. In this role France uses customer input to plan the organization of web sites and applications, document how information should interrelate, and discover tactics to connect users with desired goals.

  • Steve Poole, Search Marketing Manager, provides strategic direction and implements organic search engine optimization (SEO) and search engine marketing (SEM) for a variety of clients to help increase their online visibility and drive relevant traffic to their web sites.

  • Melinda Bauer, who was recently promoted to Media Director from Media Planner and Buyer, will create and manage strategic media programs for various business-to-business clients. In this role, she will research audiences to better understand how they consume media and determine the best media channels to reach a given audience.

In addition to these specific roles and functions, the new Customer Insight Group will oversee Research and the work of the company’s Research Implementation Team and it will have close, collaborative relationships with other service areas including Public Relations and Social Media.
