Lancaster, Pa. – Godfrey, a nationally ranked business-to-business marketing communications agency, announced today that Lance Baird was promoted to senior vice president, global business development. He was previously vice president of sales and marketing.
In addition to overseeing the agency’s business development, Baird will lead a new effort to form a global business-to-business agency network within Worldwide Partners Inc. (WPI)—the largest global network of owner-operated agencies—to help Godfrey and WPI fulfill the growing needs of international clients and prospective customers. WPI is made up of 88 advertising agencies employing 4,800 people in 136 offices located in 54 countries across Asia, Africa, Europe, Latin America, the Middle East and North America.
Baird, of Lancaster, also will continue to provide guidance and insight on sales, presentation and pricing strategies and transition new clients to the agency’s account service team.

Prior to joining Godfrey, Baird was director of newspaper sales and a senior account executive for AccuWeather, Inc., State College, Pa. He also held a sales position with CBS SportsLine.com.
Baird holds a bachelor's degree in political science, with a certificate in political economics, from Princeton University and an executive master’s degree in business administration from The Pennsylvania State University.
