Lancaster, Pa. – Godfrey, a nationally ranked business-to-business marketing communications agency, has been recognized by the national magazine Advertising Age as one of the fastest-growing advertising agencies in the country.
The publication’s 2011 “Agency Report” is based on total 2010 revenue compared to 2009. The average increase in revenue among all agencies from 2009 to 2010 was 7.7 percent. Significantly surpassing that average, Godfrey’s revenue grew 41.9 percent from 2009 to 2010, placing the firm in the top 25 – out of 500 – fastest growing U.S. agencies listed.
“Even though 2010 was a rebound year from the recession that affected most of our clients from 2008 through 2009, the growth is significant. It validates our success in providing our clients with sound strategic recommendations and strong results in the execution of those recommendations,” said Chuck Manners, President and CEO of Godfrey. “We are leveraging that momentum in 2011 by focusing even more intently on activities like deep knowledge and insight into our clients’ markets and customers.”
Advertising Age has published an agency report for the past 67 years. In the latest edition, among U.S. advertising agencies in all disciplines, Godfrey was ranked as the 454th largest agency in terms of revenue, moving up from its 2010 ranking as 514th on the same list. Rankings were determined by the results of questionnaires that agencies submitted to the magazine and subsequent analysis by Advertising Age editors. The comprehensive report includes agencies that specialize in CRM/direct marketing, digital and search marketing, advertising, media, health care, promotion and public relations. In addition, Godfrey climbed one spot to number 6 on BtoB magazine’s Top Agency Report, thus confirming the firm’s position as the sixth largest business-to-business (B2B) agency in the nation (by revenue) compared to others who earn 90 percent or greater of their revenue from B2B accounts.
