manages the sales process from initial client contact through to closing the business. This ranges from
smaller opportunities to large, complex and strategic engagements. This person also plans and executes the
marketing support needed to drive qualified opportunities and maintain a healthy sales pipeline.
The ideal candidate will be a professional with a strong knowledge of marketing disciplines and direct,
current experience with the new technologies of marketing. Must be self-motivated yet thrive in a team
environment. Experience and responsibility with consultative sales and/or account management are highly
desirable.

Project Manager or Associate Account Manager
Strategic Business Group needs a Project Manager or Associate Account Manager with strong customer service,
organizational and project management skills to manage the elements that make up the highly-integrated marketing
communications programs we execute for our business-to-business clients.
The person fulfilling this role must be highly motivated and detail oriented. The individual must have the
ability to help define the scope and mission of projects; plan schedules, budgets, and determine tasks and
resources; and then manage projects to completion on time and on budget. This person may also provide valuable
client contact within the context of specific projects.
Primary Responsibilities
- Coordinates internal resources for program execution.
- Provides initiative in streamlining workflows in connection with the quality of work and efficiency of processes.
- Coordinates monthly media planning process using placement forms.
- Participates in scheduling of group projects and assists with managing client programs and projects, including performance to time/cost estimates and budgets.
- In coordination with the Account Managers, provides client contact at the specific project level to communicate or gain information critical to achieving time and budget expectations.
Other Responsibilities:
- Defines project details, major deliverables andmilestones; determines tasks and project schedules.
- Maintainsand updates schedules to accommodate client/project scope changes.
- Tracks budget and timeline performance;communicates changes as required.
- Communicates project status to account managersat least weekly. Serves as the main point of contact for account managers whenthey are traveling.
- Assists in the management of scope changes withaccount managers.
- Provides client contact for maintenance requestsand as back-up for Account Management team – particularly when traveling andmeeting with clients.
Qualifications:
- 4 year degree
- Minimum of 3 years of communications management, design, production,interactive and/or project management experience
- Good communication skills

- Experiencedor enthusiastic about new marketing technologies
