Godfrey, a nationally ranked business-to-business marketing communications agency, is proud to announce that Media Director Stacy Whisel has earned the status of Google-qualified advertising professional. Whisel's certification means that Godfrey's entire media department is now Google-qualified. Melinda Bauer, media planner and buyer, received her Google certification in 2006.
To become a Google-qualified advertising professional, individuals within the Google Advertising Professionals Program need to manage client AdWords accounts for at least three months, with a minimum spending level of $1,000. In addition, qualified individuals have to pass an official exam to demonstrate their in-depth knowledge. Because achieving qualified individual status is arduous, Google rewards these professionals with an official program logo and professional status page.
