Godfrey, a nationally ranked business-to-business marketing communications agency, has assigned Jim Castanzo, executive vice president and partner, the role of lead creative director.
In his new and expanded role, Castanzo will supervise agency creative, copy and art directors. His previous experience in account management and creative direction will bring a well-rounded perspective to the creative process and result in powerful, highly integrated creative that is key to the programs Godfrey develops for its business-to-business clients.
Castanzo joined Godfrey in 1990 as creative director, computer design specialist. He was named executive vice president and partner in 1999 and assumed account management responsibilities in 2000. Prior to his work at Godfrey, Castanzo served as creative director for advertising agencies in New York and Pennsylvania, where he developed branding and packaging strategies for major food companies.
A resident of Lancaster, Castanzo holds a bachelor of fine arts degree from Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and has completed post-graduate studies at Syracuse University, Syracuse, N.Y.
